CLEAN AIR COUNTS!
What are VOCs (volatile organic compounds)?
VOCs are the chemicals emitted in the air as
paint dries. These chemicals are added to paint
for many different reasons. For example, to keep
paint from freezing, allowing paint to dry slower
so it maintains a wet edge or just the pigments
necessary to color the product. All of these ingredients
add to the VOC level.
At
VPR, we understand the need for a cleaner environment.
That is why we not only remanufacture interior
and exterior latex paints, but have developed,
with the help of major manufacturers, a low VOC
interior latex paint that meets the industry standard
of 50 g/l (grams per liter) or less.
Making paint that is more environmentally friendly
helps improve the overall health of our planet.
By lowering VOC’s, VPR helps provide paint
to cover the physical surfaces of schools, hospitals,
private homes, commercial projects and other spaces
where occupied areas need to be painted.
